Here's more about me...

Eryka received her Bachelor’s Degree at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in December 2022. Eryka is currently a communications/public relations specialist with The Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW) where she works with the organization to achieve its goal of encouraging comprehensive reporting of economic events without fear or favoritism.  

In the past, Eryka was a city/community news intern at The Arizona Republic and covered K-12 education and real estate. She launched the publication's homebuyer series, Home Run. Before that, she was an intern at Times Media Group, an Arizona-based media company that publishes 14 different magazines and local newspapers. Eryka was also a social justice reporter for Cronkite News, the news division of Arizona PBS. She has also interned at Picket Fence Media, the publisher of three local newspapers in Orange County, California. Eryka was also a disc jockey for Blaze Radio and WUTK. 

Eryka is a Phoenix-based journalist who has gained experience in public relations while completing her undergraduate degree. She has a passion for telling people's stories through different platforms and working with social media. 

When she's not immersed in the world of words and communication, Eryka can be found drinking iced coffee, listening to her collection of vinyl records or attempting to train her stubborn French bulldog, Jamie.
